Making waste work for all citizens

With a Degree in Sociology (UB) and training in Strategic Management of Public-Private Collaboration (ESADE), Isaac Peraire Soler believes in improving the quality of life of the citizens of Catalonia. He was the mayor of Prats de Lluçanès and president of the Consorci del Lluçanès from 2015 to 2019 and had been a councillor and has held other responsibilities at the local level. He is also an active member of Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya. As director of the Waste Agency of Catalonia, he oversees the Agency’s main objectives of promoting the minimisation of waste, the implementation of selective collection, the valorisation of waste, the disposal of waste, and the recovery of spaces and soils degraded by contaminated discharges of waste.
