CEO at Oxfam Intermón

A Chartered Civil Engineer by training, Franc Cortada Hindersin has spent over two decades helping others overcome poverty and injustice. Before joining Oxfam Intermón as CEO, he was responsible for leading Oxfam’s long-term and humanitarian programmes, knowledge and institutional fundraising agendas, delivering programmes across more than 70 country and regional offices. During this time, he successfully led and contributed to some of the biggest transformational changes within Oxfam. Franc has master’s degrees in Development Aid and Social Exclusion and Cultural Diversity and has worked in countries as diverse as Senegal, El Salvador, Romania or Argentina. Passionate about his work, tenacious and difficult to discourage Franc, is firmly convinced that change is possible, and a better world is achievable.
